Health Care Innovation Strategy Engagement

Working with the c-suite at a New England based multi-hospital system, VoxVue Health focused on understanding, supporting and enhancing the system’s business strategy. We accomplished this through the development of a benefits analysis which showcased in hard dollars, the value of actionable information achieved through the integration of financial, clinical and operational data.

Working specifically in partnership with the CIO at this same organization, VoxVue Health became the trusted advisors and interim technology management team, relied upon to help define and implement a strategic data integration solution. VoxVue Health’s ability to coordinate engagements across the system’s disparate teams was fundamental to achieving a unified foundation upon which to base future innovation.

VoxVue Health’s role at this organization included:

  • Project Management

  • Business Requirements and Gap Analysis

  • Systems Management

  • Outside vendor engagement and management leading to recalibration and improved performance

  • Defining and implementing a new proactive application development and systems support capability within the Information Systems group

  • Analysis and Implementation of high value use cases including:
    • Care management framework for ED Recidivists
    • Case management support
    • Adverse drug event alerts

Customer Relationship Management

VoxVue Health developed a high level data architecture, analyzed current workflows and identified areas where automation and innovation could make a measurable impact on patient/consumer and physician marketing. Through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, VoxVue Health developed a series of critical capabilities necessary to increase patient volume, decrease system leakage and retain key physicians. The result of this work was a system wide RFP for a series of Customer Relationship Management initiatives.


Facilitating Accountable Care Early Adopter Partnership with Microsoft

Several of VoxVue Health’s key personnel are former Microsoft execs. VoxVue Health was able to leverage existing relationships within Microsoft to facilitate an early adopter Accountable Care Organization partnership between a major healthcare system in New England and Microsoft’s Health Solutions Group. This initiative included the following key use cases:

  • Proactive Care Management
  • Care Transitions
  • Quality Performance
  • Physician Network Services Development
    • Integrating Outpatient, Payer, & Hospital Data
    • Provider Portal for Networked Care & Scheduling
    • Patient Portal for Communication & Education
    • Alternative Contract Management

Data Steward / Data Architecture

As a result of its extensive technology expertise, VoxVue Health was asked to perform in the capacity of Data Steward for a large community-based hospital system. Focused around the implementation of Microsoft Health Solutions Group product suite, VoxVue Health successfully organized and managed the administration, support, upgrades and installation of the Amalga product. This included business analysis and data feed specifications for specific high value user scenarios, developing and implementing client applications, harmonizing the system’s data model and building BI / Analytics applications. In addition, VoxVue Health continues to mentor existing director level I/S personnel and is an active member of the recruiting team, mentoring and training new employees in Amalga.
