John Morey - CEO
John is the CEO of VoxVue Health. Through John’s work as
a Boston-based Healthcare System board member, as well as his
expertise working with various Healthcare systems nationwide,
John pioneered VoxVue Health’s Innovation grounded Healthcare
Information Framework Return on Investment (HIFROI™) methodology.
John leads C-level strategy sessions with leading Healthcare providers
across the country.
Prior to establishing VoxVue Health, John founded VoxVue Corporation
and VoxVue’s BizScape™ 3-D Data Visualization software
which provides planning and analysis tools to organizations worldwide.
Previously, he was President and CEO of Sound Vision.
John was employed with Microsoft for nearly
a decade. In Redmond, WA he was the founder of Microsoft’s
Workgroup Applications Division leading Microsoft’s entry
into electronic messaging, calendaring, scheduling and workgroup
productivity. In Montreal, John was responsible for day-to-day
operations of Microsoft’s Softimage software business unit,
a leader in 3D software and digital image creation and editing.
John also co-founded Microsoft’s PictureIt! software business,
now a leading product in the consumer photo editing category.
John was also a founding member of Microsoft’s consulting
group in Boston.
John has BS and MBA degrees from Boston
University, was a post-graduate fellow at MIT’s Center for
Advanced Engineering Study and also studied at Tufts University’s
Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
Chris Phinney - President
Chris is responsible for day to day operations and revenue management
of VoxVue Health. Chris has over 27 years of business and business
management experience; mostly in the technology sector. He has
worked with Healthcare systems since the late 90’s and is
currently focused on Healthcare Customer Relationship Management.
His background includes marketing management and consulting at
a small firm in Boston; channel marketing and direct sales for
a spreadsheet software company. In the late 80s Chris started
a 10-year career at Microsoft as a sales manager and then as a
managing consultant in Microsoft’s Consulting Services.
Since leaving Microsoft in 1998, Chris has taught graduate and
undergraduate technology courses at Babson College, consulted
small businesses, and raised funds for educational institutions.
In 2009, Chris joined VoxVue’s BizScape team as Vice President
of Sales for North America and VP Consulting Services.
Chris holds a BA degree in English from
Connecticut College.
Larry Floryan - VP and CTO
Larry is a Vice President and Principal
Consultant with VoxVue Health, focusing on Revenue Cycle. Larry
is also VoxVue Health’s CTO. Based on his financial acumen,
Larry developed the financial modeling that supports VoxVue Health’s
HIFROI™ Methodology. Larry is also a Co-Founder of VoxVue
Corporation. His career in the computer industry has spanned over
30 years. The last 22 years Larry has held co-founder positions
as Technical Director, Vice President of Engineering, and Chief
Technologist at three venture-backed start-ups; Banyan Systems
Inc. (1983-1994), Amulet, Inc. (1994-1998), and Veridiem Inc.
(1998-2000). Larry has also been a member of the Board of Directors
of Visual Systems, Inc. based in San Luis Obispo, CA since 1995.
Larry has a BS degree in Physics and Math
from the College of the Holy Cross.
Joe Esposito - CFO
Joe has over 30 years of finance and operations experience,
especially in growing and developing technology businesses. As
CFO of SolidWorks Corporation, Joe was responsible for all financial,
legal and business systems activities, as well as most administrative
functions. Joe completed four acquisitions for SolidWorks and
managed integration of each business into the company.
Prior to joining SolidWorks, Joe was financial director of new
business ventures at Polaroid Corporation where he was responsible
for determining financial and operational structures for acquisitions,
dispositions and spin outs in support of Polaroid’s first
coordinated new business development effort. Previously, Joe served
as chief financial officer of Polaroid Medical Imaging Systems
and held various controllership and treasury roles throughout
Polaroid.
Joe serves on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Business
Alliance for Education and is a member of its policy committee.
He is also chairman of the Advisory Council to the Massachusetts
Board of Elementary and Secondary Education concerning school
district accountability and assistance.
Joe attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, served as
a U.S. Army Captain in Vietnam, received a bachelor’s degree
in computer science from Boston University, and a master’s
degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
In addition, he is a certified public accountant with both audit
and tax experience from Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company (KPMG
Peat Marwick LLP).
Mark Pinis - VP Program Management
Mark is a Principal Innovation Consultant and Vice President of
Program Management for VoxVue Health, focusing on ACO strategies.
Mark’s background enables him to provide a leadership role
in strategic consulting engagements which focus on deploying information
technology in distributed Healthcare systems. Mark is also a Co-Founder
of VoxVue Corporation, with extensive expertise in 3-D Data Visualization.
Mark’s recent roles include VP Technology with Software
Productivity Research (SPR) and Artemis Management Systems including
architect/product manager of KnowledgePLAN. Mark also served as
Director of the Boston Client Service Center with the systems
integration company Oneworld Software Solutions. Mark co-founded
Accelera Software, an architecture and design, mentoring, and
process improvement firm employing enterprise architecture and
process experts to assist companies undertaking high risk projects
in cutting edge technological domains.
Prior to commencing his career developing software products, Mark
graduated from Antioch College (Yellow Springs, OH) with a degree
in Literature.
Brian Lania - VP Data Services
Brian is a Principal Consultant and Vice
President of Data Services for VoxVue Health. Brian has over 25
years of Information Technology experience; 17 of which were directly
related to Data and Database Technology. Brian’s relational
database product and program manager expertise in a variety of
enterprise database solutions, enables him to quickly ascertain
the viability of a Healthcare system’s data landscape and
provide an assessment of the intrinsic value of that data asset.
Brian’s recent roles include VP of Business development
for VoxVue’s 3-D data visualization product, BizScape, Business
Development Executive at Microsoft where he launched the Emerging
Business Team working with VC’s and startup ventures and
was Manager of Global Alliances (Digital, Unisys, Wang Global,
and CTP). Brian was also the VP of Business Development at Kid’s
Energy.
Brian has a BS degree from Babson College
and an MBA from Suffolk University.
Mike Fish - Managing Director,
VoxVue Health UK
Based in the UK, Mike Fish runs the European
VoxVue Health consulting practice. Mike has over 30 years of in-depth
management experience - from Hewlett-Packard and PWC to setting
up and developing growth companies in Europe, North America and
Asia Pacific. His market experience includes design software (for
electronics and for software) and infrastructure software (cluster
computing, internet security, etc). He was one of the founding
executives at ECsoft, a $50m venture investment, which subsequently
floated on Nasdaq and London Stock Exchange. In addition to his
experience within the software industry, Mike spent several years
investing in it as a venture capital investor.
Mike holds a BSc in Engineering from Southampton
University.
